Authorities Discover Meth Lab During Search of Ohio County Residence

Drug arrest 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/11/13) – Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of possible drug activity occurring at a residence on Tyler Road on Saturday, March 9, at approximately 10:46 p.m.
 
Upon arriving, several subjects allegedly fled the residence. Authorities said an Ohio County canine unit tracked and located Kyle Puckett, Hartford. Police also arrested Rebekah Calloway, Beaver Dam.
 
Kentucky State Police allegedly located an active one-step methamphetamine lab in a storage building behind the residence. Methamphetamine, meth precursors and drug paraphernalia were also allegedly located inside the residence.
 
Puckett is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and fleeing or evading police. Calloway is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor. Both were transported to the Ohio County Detention Center. Kentucky State Police will actively continue the investigation and future arrests are possible.
