City of Owensboro Adjusts Schedule for Good Friday

OBORO holiday hoursOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/21/13) – Owensboro City Hall will be closed Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. The Owensboro Transit System will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. that day, and the Owensboro Sanitation Department will follow a normal collection schedule. For continued quality sanitation service at low rates, citizens are asked to have cart(s) out by 6:00 a.m. Cart lids must be closed with all trash contained inside the cart, and citizens are asked to not block vehicles, poles, etc. Carts should be set so its lid opens toward the street.
