breaking news stabbing 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/2/13) – On March 18, Owensboro Police Department patrol units responded to a medical emergency call at 1822 W. 6th Street. At approximately 4:45 a.m., responding units spoke with the victim, who stated she had been involved in an argument with her boyfriend. She stated that the argument escalated and became physical when her boyfriend allegedly used a kitchen knife to stab her in her abdomen.
 
The woman was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
 
This case is still under investigation as detectives work to fully identify and locate the suspect.
