Whitfield Statement in Recognition of Memorial Day

Ed Whitfield new 300FRANKFORT, Ky. (5/27/13) – U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-01) today released the following statement in recognition of Memorial Day.

"On this Memorial Day, I want to thank the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who have sacrificed their lives to protect the values on which our nation stands. They have made our country what it is today, and we owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid. We must always remember that the United States of America only remains the land of the free because of the brave."
