drug arrest2 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/10/13) – Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Detectives and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested two men on Monday following a traffic stop on the William Natcher Parkway just south of the city, Owensboro Police reported.

Nicholas P. Spinks, 26, Owensboro, and Cody B. Gray, 24, Henderson, were each charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Spinks was also charged with driving a vehicle with excessive windshield/window tint. Gray was also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.
 
Authorities alleged they discovered about a half a pound of marijuana and an ounce of cocaine during the search of the vehicle. Spinks and Gray were taken to Daviess County Detention Center.
