Warrant Issued in Firearm Discharge Investigation

breakingnews surfky 300 aOWENSBORO, Ky. (7/19/13) – Owensboro detectives have issued a warrant for the arrest of Preston T. Williams, 21, Owensboro, in connection with a reported firearm discharge in the 500 block of Maple St. Sunday, July 14, at 1:28 a.m.

Authorities said today that Williams is wanted on charges of First Degree Wanton Endangerment and Third Degree Criminal Mischief. The Owensboro Police Department is currently seeking Williams, and the public is asked to contact OPD at 270-687-8888 with information regarding his whereabouts.

Police responded on July 14 to report of the firearm discharge after a woman told them an unknown person had fired a gun from inside a white Dodge Charger. The bullet struck the window of her vehicle. No one was hurt in the incident.
