Multiple Road Closures This Week

lane closures green 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky (8/5/13) -Beginning tomorrow, Aug. 6, Graham Drive and Ragland Way in Bowling Green will be closed for significant time periods due to a Public Works street reconstruction project. Graham Drive will have the northbound lane closed to thru traffic, both night and day through Aug. 13. For the same time period, Ragland Way from Graham Drive to Jenkins Drive will be completely closed. Detours will be posted. This will be Phase 1 of a two-phase project to be completed by Scotty's Contracting.

Aug. 6 is the first day of school for the City school system. The reconstruction will affect the Parker Bennett Curry Elementary School area at Graham and Webb Drive.

The second phase of the project is expect to begin on Tuesday, Aug. 13, with the southbound lane of Graham Drive to be closed from Ragland Way to Scott Way to thru traffic both night and day thru Aug. 20. At the same time, Jenkins Drive will be completely closed from Ragland Way to Scott Way.
