Chamber Welcomes Mobile Photo Booth

mobile booth 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (9/5/13) – As visitors to the final Friday After 5 of the season piled around to sort through different assortments of costumes at the table outside Chad Day’s mobile photo booth, a second group of people were also gathering – Ambassadors of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, who came to welcome Day to the organization.

Day, who’d been providing DJ services for years to weddings, said the development of his company Have a Nice Day Mobile Entertainment grew out of an opportunity from his own wedding a couple of years ago, when his then bride-to-be suggested the idea of having a photo booth at their ceremony.

“It was right around the time I was going to start my own company,” Day said. “My wife wanted (a photo booth) at the wedding, and it was a good time to invest.”

Day set up his mobile booth at Friday After 5 every week, and said he has provided that to other similar venues in different parts of the state. But weddings are where the booth can be found most often.

Day said he joined the Chamber for several reasons.

“I want to support the community first and foremost. Increasing exposure to my business was a reason as well. I also want to network with other business owners and professionals.”

More information about Day’s business can be found at http://www.haveanicedayme.com/.
