Highway Department ‘Winding Down’ Work on Audubon Parkway

ky trans cab 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (9/12/13) – Over the next few weeks a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be ramping down work zone activity along the Audubon Parkway in Daviess County.

As of this afternoon, there is no longer two-way traffic along the westbound lanes of the Audubon between the U.S. 60 Interchange and the Green River Bridge.

As the contractor removes traffic delineators and other traffic control equipment along this section of the Audubon Parkway, motorists will be able to resume a more normal flow along this work zone.  However, motorists should continue to use appropriate caution as they will still encounter lane restrictions at various locations as the contractor finishes out work along the project.

The remaining finish work is expected to take about two to four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
