fairway motor sales 300

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/26/13) – With over 40 years of car experience combined, owners Tom Davis and David Wood are cutting out the fluff and selling cars the good ole fashion country way.

Fair-Way Motor Sales is located on 2530 South Main Street here in Madisonville, next to the Country Club.

“I’ve been in the car business here in Madisonville for 25 years,” said Tom Davis. “So a lot of people here know me.”

Wood and Davis started working together back in the late 1980s selling cars. Then Wood left and went into the machine shop business for about 15 years. Wood and Davis decided in January of this year to open up shop.

“We were running it before it became Fair-Way Motors,” said David Wood. “Then the owner closed it and then we got to kicking around the idea of opening up our own… so we did.”

The guys pretty much live up to their slogan.

“We are what our slogan says; ‘We do Business the Fairway,’” said Davis. “Even though we are small, the difference is, people don’t have to jump through hoops to get an answer… you are talking straight to the owners.”

Both men believe it is incredibly important to treat people right, no high pressure and to sell good quality pre-owned vehicles.

Business hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m., Saturday from 9:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. and closed on Sunday. They also stay late by appointment.
