As part of this year’s celebrations, we want to specially honor our Korean War Veterans on the 60th anniversary of the conflict. The City invites all Korean War Veterans to join the parade as honorary grand marshals in this year’s parade and attend a special dinner following the parade. This year’s parade will begin at 3:45 p.m. at Second Street and Crittenden Street. The parade route will travel west on Second St., north on Daviess St., and west on Veterans Boulevard ending at Frederica Street.

Following the parade, Smothers Park will be filled with live music leading up to a fireworks display at 5:30 p.m. over the Ohio River. The public is invited to come support our veterans and enjoy a great evening of fireworks.
