Accident Injury 01 300HENDERSON, Ky. (10/7/13) - An accident with injuries was reported when a driver crashed through the front window of Hibbett’s Sports on Friday. Henderson Police initially reported that Arsa Lee, 63, was arrested for First Degree DUI- Aggravating Circumstances, after she drove her Ford Taurus into the store. The vehicle traveled through the front of the store and struck another wall before stopping.

However, late Monday afternoon the police department issued the following "correction:"

"Arsa Lee, the motorist involved in the accident at Hibbett's Sports on 10/04/2013, was not arrested or lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center. Lee was transported to Methodist Hospital where she submitted to chemical tests. After submitting to those tests, she was cited for DUI 1st Degree - Aggravating Circumstances. Lee was cited due to a medical condition and released to a family member."

At the time of the accident, three employees and approximately ten customers were in the store. Four people were injured in the accident. Three of the injured parties, Kenneth J. Manuel, 27, Garrett Thompson, 20, and Kimberly Teague, 21, were transported to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
