breaking news shooting gunOWENSBORO, Ky. (11/6/13) - The Owensboro Police Department responded to a firearm discharging call in the 4000 block of Kipling Drive on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at approximately 1:15 a.m.

The initial investigation by responding officers confirmed that one shot had been fired into the front window of the residence. Although the residence was occupied at the time, there were no injuries reported.
 
An Owensboro Police Department detective has been assigned to this case and is attempting to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident.
