Red Devils Look to Continue Dominating Performance

sports 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (11/21/13) - Last year, Owensboro reached the Regional Championship game against Warren East and lost. Last Friday, the Red Devils got its revenge defeating Warren East 54-19.

This week, Owensboro will take on the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats. The Wildcats are 8 - 4 and have won six consecutive games by the combined score of 241 - 54. Franklin-Simpson has a run oriented offense like Owensboro, so this game could turn into a battle in the trenches.

"Franklin-Simpson likes to pound the other team," said Head Owensboro Football Coach Joe Prince. "Their running backs are strong runners and they get a lot of yards after contact."

The Red Devil's defense has only given up 25 points in the playoffs this year. Owensboro will have to continue being the most physical team if they are going win the Regional Championship.

The Wildcats will travel to Owensboro Friday to take on the Red Devils. The game will kick off at 7 p.m.
