UPDATE - Missing Veteran Located

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/10/13) — UPDATE - Jordan Welch has been located safe and in good health. The Kentucky State Police thanks the media and the public for their assistance in this case.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/9/13) - The Kentucky State Police is requesting the public's assistance with locating a missing person.

According to public information officer Trooper Stu Recke, Jennifer Wheeler con-tacted KSP Nov. 26 regarding her concerns about her brother, Jordan T. Welch. Welch had received a general discharge from the U.S. Army Sept. 24 and was last stationed at Fort Campbell.

Wheeler reported she had last spoken with her brother Sept. 29 and that he advised her he was working at a construction job.

Welch, 21, is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5'9" and weighs approximately 115 pounds.

 

Anyone with information concerning Welch's whereabouts is asked to call KSP at (270) 676-3313 or (800) 222-5555.
