Police Investigating Owensboro Robbery

Robbery 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/6/14) — The Owensboro Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at approximately 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 5 at Stovall’s Barber Shop, located at 1801 W. 2nd Street.

The investigation revealed that while the owner was leaving the business, an unknown black male allegedly armed with a handgun approached and demanded money.

The suspect then left the scene on foot after stealing an undetermined amount of money.

No injuries were reported.
