The boutique offers several lines of clothing and jewelry, many which Johnson said she selected because they are unique to the lines offered in the local community.
She said she didn’t know much about the specific clothing lines before opening the business in November, but has developed her selections based on personal preferences and feedback from customers and friends who help operate the boutique.
“I knew what I liked, and I went in with a completely clean slate,” Johnson said in discussing how she chose which clothes to include at her store during fashion shows. “We walked out with what we felt was affordable.”
With the help of her dad, who did the construction work for the new clothing boutique, Johnson remodeled the facility, including building and staining the furniture.
Johnson said she feels blessed by the support she’s received.
“This location’s been really good for me,” she added, noting the proximity to several subdivisions along that stretch of Hwy. 54.
