GRADDOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/11/14) – A college and career fair originally planned for Feb. 8 has been rescheduled for March 22.

GRADD invites the public to attend the “College & Job Explosion,” where participants can meet with local college and university representatives to learn about educational opportunities, and they can meet with area employers to network and explore current job openings.

Special guest Aaron Kizer will speak and perform his speed painting.

Pizza and door prizes will be provided throughout the afternoon.

“Today’s young people face unprecedented challenges as they chart their career paths,” said Jill Gray, GRADD Workforce Development Administrator. “We want to help them discover the tools they need to begin a successful journey.”

This event will be held Saturday March 22, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club (3415 Buckland Square, Owensboro).

Sponsored by the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club and GRADD, funded by the Green River Workforce Investment Area (with Workforce Investment Act funds) and the Darden Foundation.
