OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/24/14) – A Louisville man who allegedly fled police on foot was apprehended a short time later, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said a deputy on patrol observed Richard Hardin, 37, “acting suspicious” and approached him. The man then allegedly fled into a wooded area, and was tracked with the aid of a K-9 unit. Hardin surrendered without incident, authorities said.Hardin was taken to the Daviess County Detention Center, where he was lodged on charges of fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended operator’s license, and a felony parole violation.
