Daviess County High School Greenhouse is Now Open

Flowers petuniaOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/28/14) — The Daviess County High School greenhouse is open from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday selling a variety of flowers, vegetables, ferns and hanging baskets.

All proceeds are used to fund student scholarships and the DCHS FFA greenhouse classes.

A selection of products and prices is as follows:

  • Geraniums (red or white), $1.50 each, 4-inch pots

  • Petunias (blue, white, burgundy, red), $2 each, 4-inch pots

  • Impatiens (accent coral), $1.50 each, 4-inch pots

  • Marigold (yellow), $1.50 per four-pack

  • Vinca (cascade polka dot or cora violet), $1.50 each, 4-inch pots

  • Coleus (chocolate-covered cherry, chocolate splash), $1.50 each, 4-inch pots

  • Lantana (bandana lemon zest, luscious pina colada), $2 each, 4-inch pots

  • Begonia, $1.50 each, 4-inch pot

  • Peppers (green, red, yellow), $1.50 per four-pack

  • Tomatoes (several varieties), $2 per four-pack

  • Hanging baskets, $10 for 12-inch basket

  • Boston fern, $20 for 12-inch basket
