One Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident in Daviess County

Accident Injuries 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/28/14) – An Owensboro woman was injured in a three-vehicle collision in Daviess County on Thursday, Kentucky State Police reported.

According to authorities, troopers responded to the scene of the accident at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 60 and U.S. 231, approximately five miles east of Owensboro Thursday afternoon at 1:35 p.m.

Authorities said Christie Prater, 37, was traveling west on U.S. 60 toward Samantha Mosby, 28.

Hawesville, and Robert Taul, 73, Owensboro, who were both stopped in traffic at a stop light.

Prater apparently didn’t see the vehicles stopped ahead of her and struck the back of Taul’s 2004 Ford F-150 with her 2008 Buick LaCrosse.

The impact pushed Taul’s truck into Mosby’s 2012 Buick Enclave.

Prater was taken by ambulance to Owensboro Health for treatment of injuries. No other injuries were reported.
