OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/13/14) — Kentucky State Police and the Owensboro Police Department arrested two Daviess County men for drug-related offenses Saturday, April 12.
According to a KSP report, KSP and OPD executed a warrant for a felony arrest on Joshua Cavender at 3:12 p.m. on West 12th Street, Owensboro. After arriving, officers were granted permission to search the residence and located and apprehended Cavender, who was hiding in the basement with Jeremy Harrington. Further investigation revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Harrington, 24, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree/meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension.
Cavender, 29, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense/meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, non-payment of fines and felony parole violation.
Both are being lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
