State Ag Commissioner to Attend ‘Grand Opening’ at Nona’s Market

farm sceneOWENSBORO, Ky. (4/23/14) – Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer will join other state and local officials on Saturday in downtown Owensboro for the grand opening of Nona’s Downtown Market on Second St.

Nona’s Downtown Market, owned by Maria Kelley, opened April 5. The market offers a variety of Kentucky Proud brand products. Local vendors will be on hand to offer samples to customers and guests at the event.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Saturday.
