Apollo High School Students Plan Art Show

owensboro-appollo-art-showOWENSBORO, Ky. (4/25/14) — Special services students at Apollo High School are hosting an art show featuring their sketches, paintings, sculptures and 3D creations.

The exhibit is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 1 - 2, in the dome area of AHS, 2280 Tamarack Road.

The theme of this year’s exhibit is “Separate We Are Unique; Together We Are A Masterpiece.”

Student artists will be on hand from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, to describe their work and the artistic techniques.

The display is open to the public.

Those attending the exhibit will have the opportunity to vote for "Best in Show" and "Best Use of Color."
