Try Hockey for Free at the Edge Ice Center

hockey-kidsOWENSBORO, Ky. (5/14/14) — The Owensboro Youth Hockey Association will offer 'Try Hockey for Free' at the Edge Ice Center Sunday, May 18.

Sign-ups and equipment sizing are from 3 - 4 p.m. with on ice activities taking place from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity for children new to the sport to sample all the fun and excitement of ice hockey. This program is available for youth age four through sixteen.

Registrations for the Summer Hockey League will also take place on this date for players new to the league and needing new USA Hockey registrations. Summer league sign-ups and equipment distribution will be from 4 - 6:30 p.m. Returning players may register online at www.owensborohockey.com.

The Summer Hockey League will begin Monday, June 2 and is open to boys and girls ages 4 through 17 years of age. All practices and games take place at the Edge Ice Center, 1400 Hickman Avenue, next to the Owensboro Sportscenter.
