UPDATE - Daviess County Shooting

Jonathan-R.-MillerDAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (6/9/14) — The Owensboro Police Department received a tip on the whereabouts of Jonathan Miller.

He was taken into custody at approximately in the 1400 block of Bosley Road without incident. During the arrest, Miller was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.

He has been charged accordingly.

Charges:

  • Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8oz or greater offense – Class D Felony

  • Drug Paraphernalia, Buy/Possess – Class A Misdemeanor or Assault, second – Class C Felony

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (6/5/14) — The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 600 block of Plum Street at approximately 1 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014.

During the incident, a male juvenile, who was located in an apartment complex parking lot, was struck by a bullet in the lower leg, causing non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation has prompted detectives to seek an arrest warrant for Jonathan Miller, 19, 418 E. 7th Street, Owensboro, Ky. 42303, who is believed to have fired the round that struck the juvenile.

Owensboro Police Department detectives are searching for Miller at this time.
