Authorities Search for Escaped Felon

Inmates escape 300 copyOWENSBORO, Ky. (8/7/14) — Authorities are seeking a man who allegedly walked away from Dismas Charities Thursday night around 8 p.m.

Kentucky State Police said Donnie McClain, 44, Owensboro, was not at roll call when staff performed a headcount.

McClain is serving time on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container.

McClain is described as five feet, 11 inches tall, 240 lbs. and brown hair and brown eyes. While his whereabouts are unknown, police believe he may be still in the Owensboro area.

He also has family in Tell City, Ind.
