Owensboro Multicultural Festival - Saturday, Aug. 16, First Presbyterian Church Lawn, 1328 Griffith Avenue. At Owensboro's Multicultural Festival, a unique blending of cultures come together to educate the public through dance, music, fashion, food, art and more. Come join in a celebration of our community's diversity. This is a free event. For more information, call (270) 684-1467.

  • Owensboro Christian Church: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 6:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • Owensboro Health Regional Hospital: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

  • TGIFridays: Live Trivia, 7-9 p.m.

AUG. 13 - WEDNESDAY

  • TGIFridays: Karaoke & Cornhole, 7-11 p.m.

AUG. 14 - THURSDAY

  • Owensboro Christian Church: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 6:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • Downtown Owensboro: Downtown Date Night with free music on the Smothers Park Overlook stage from 7-9 p.m.

  • Gambrinus Libation Emporium: Trivia Night, 7:30-10:30 p.m.

AUG. 15 - FRIDAY

  • Owensboro Riverfront: Friday After 5 featuring Brasher/Bogue, Chuck Flaim and CALABASH outside and Gospel on the River in Cannon Hall featuring The Mark Mudd Family, The Lindseys (Bluegrass Gospel) and the Sons of the Father, 6-10 p.m.

  • Diamond Lake Resort: Street Legends Car Show, through Aug. 16.

AUG. 16 - SATURDAY

  • Owensboro Christian Church: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 6:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • First Presbyterian Church: Multicultural Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • Daviess County Public Library: Saturday Morning Live, 10 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • Reid's Orchard: Big O Music Fest, gates open at noon.

  • Diamond Lake Resort: Elvis and Country Legends Tribute, 7 - 9 p.m.

  • Smothers Park Overlook Stage: Live on the Banks free concert featuring The Chasen Little Group, 7-9 p.m.

  • National Guard Armory: Owensboro Ballroom Dance Club Hawaiian Beach Party, 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.

AUG. 19 - TUESDAY

  • Owensboro Christian Church: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 6:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • Western Kentucky Botanical Garden: Walk, Talk & Lunch, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

  • Owensboro Health Regional Hospital: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

  • DCPS Learning Center: Kentucky Rough Riders Theodore Roosevelt Club, 6-7 p.m.

  • Daviess County Public Library: Lego Block Party, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Smothers Park Overlook: Bluegrass on the Banks, 7-9 p.m.

  • Owensboro Riverfront: Friday After 5 featuring Rachel Timberlake (Country) on the Main Stage; Brent Shaw Band in the Courtyard; Hereward the Wake on the Overlook Stage, 6-10 p.m.

  • Daviess County Public Library: Cult Movie Night, 7:30-10:00 p.m.

AUG. 23 - SATURDAY

  • Owensboro Christian Church: Owensboro Regional Farmers Market, 6:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.

  • English Park: Owensboro Dragon Boat Festival, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Owensboro Museum of Fine Art: Riverartes Exhibit Opens, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • St. Columba Parish: Barbecue Picnic, serving begins at 4 p.m.

  • Smothers Park Overlook Stage: Live on the Banks free concert, 7-9 p.m.
