OWENSBORO, Ky. (9/3/14) — On Tuesday, Owensboro Health hosted the final 2014 'Harvest Market,' a joint venture with the Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market.

The program wrapped up with what was labeled a “Food and Art Extravaganza” theme, and offered visitors a chance to paint designs that could become part of an Owensboro Museum of Fine Art canvas.

Daviess County Barn Quilt Trail Committee members were also on hand with examples of barn quilts, and music was provided by Randy Lanham and Diane Earle.

Cake decorating and flower arranging demonstrations were offered throughout the afternoon and hospital staff provided information on wellness topics such as healthy eating and suggestions on ways to stay active.
