Missing Owensboro Juvenile Found Alive and Well

girl foundOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/19/13) – A missing 16 year old Owensboro girl has been found, a spokesperson for the Owensboro Police Department told SurfKY today. The girl, Courtney Lyons, was spotted by an Owensboro officer. Public Information Officer Michael Hathaway said because Lyons is a juvenile, laws regarding the release of information prohibited him from answering additional questions about the incident.

Authorities had been searching for Lyons since she first went missing from Hancock County High School on March 7.
