16 Apply for Superintendent Position at OPS

ops4 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/22/13) – The Owensboro Public Schools superintendent screening committee received 16 applications for the position of superintendent of the Owensboro Public Schools. Fifteen of those are in-state applicants and one is an out-of-state applicant. Additionally, three have superintendent experience.
 
The screening committee will now begin the process of screening all applications, following the guidelines established in KRS 160.352 and Board Policy 02.1. Per the timeline established by the Board of Education, the screening committee will make its recommendation to the board on April 11.
 
At this point, following the guidelines in Board Policy, members of the screening committee will keep all applicant information in strict confidence.
