Two Juveniles Charged in Connection with Five Owensboro Burglaries

JUVENILE charged 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/17/13) – Through the course of its investigation, the Owensboro Police Department has concluded that a missing 17-year-old juvenile located on April 16 was allegedly responsible for five recent burglaries in the city, Owensboro authorities said in a statement.

According to Owensboro Police, “the juvenile was in possession of items that were later identified as items stolen from various locations in Owensboro,” including three churches and one business.

Police said a 16-year-old juvenile was also charged with burglary in connection with a reported robbery at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Among the items recovered were a laptop and credit card.
