hend high 300HENDERSON, KY (4/19/12) – Mark Starns’ contract for the 2012-2013 school year as Henderson County High School’s head boys’ basketball coach will not be renewed.
 
Following a meeting between Henderson County High School principal Sally Sugg and the athletic director Vivian Tomblin, it was decided the high school will move in a different direction with the boys’ basketball program. Principal Sugg and Ms. Tomblin are working on a timeline to hire a new coach.
 
Mr. Starns coached five years at Henderson County High School.
