Hit and Run on Atkinson Street

hit run2HENDERSON, KY (5/7/12) – On May 4, 2012, at approximately 6:20 PM, the Henderson Police Department responded to 1308 Atkinson Street in reference to a reported hit and run.
 
According to police officials, 40-year-old Marsha Williams of Nortonville, KY was stopped eastbound, waiting to turn left from Atkinson Street onto Madison Street. It was then that a black Dodge Ram pickup truck was southbound turning right onto Atkinson when the two vehicles collided. The truck left the scene of the accident.
 
Williams’s passenger, 25-year-old Terry Book of Henderson, was transported to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
The case is currently ongoing.
