HENDERSON, KY (7/9/12) – On Sunday, June 8, 2012, Kentucky State Police (KSP) responded to the scene of a reported accident with injuries on the 21,000 block of HWY 811 in Henderson.
Once on the scene, KSP Troopers found that 32-year-old Mary F. Speed of Owensboro, KY was operating a 2004 Jeep on a private road when she approached Highway 811. Speed lost control of the vehicle and over-corrected, hitting an earth embankment. Speed’s vehicle then went airborne crossing Highway 811, coming to final rest in a ditch.
Speed was transported by Henderson County EMS to OMHS in Owensboro where she was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
Speed was charged with Driving under the Influence and Driving on Suspended Driver’s License and was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
