TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Lane Restriction on KY 351/Second Street

lane restriction2 300HENDERSON, KY (7/10/12) - A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has restricted traffic to one lane on the KY 351/Second Street Overpass in Henderson.

This lane restriction for both eastbound and westbound traffic is to allow a bridge deck overlay on the Railroad/Clark Street/Canoe Creek Overpass at KY 351 mile point 0.763. This is on KY 351/Second Street between Carlisle Street and Priest Street in Henderson.

Motorists should use appropriate caution in this work zone where equipment and construction personnel will be on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. Work at this site should be completed in about 4 to 5 weeks, weather permitting.

Approximately 15,000 vehicles travel this section of KY 351/Second Street in an average day.

Timely traffic advisories for the 11 counties of KYTC Highway District 2 are available by going to www.facebook.com/kytcdistrict2. You do not have to be a Facebook member to access this page.
