Attempted Robbery at Meadow and O’byrne

ASSAULT YELLOW1 30HENDERSON, KY (7/11/12) – On July 9 at just after midnight, the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of an attempted robbery.
 
Once on the scene, officers found that Sammy Sutton Jr. reported he was jumped by four black males. Sutton stated that the suspects surrounded him and held him at gunpoint.
 
Sutton went on to say that the suspects ordered him to empty his pockets and the assaulted him, striking him on the left side of his head.
 
Sutton was transported to Methodist ER for treatment.
 
At this time, no arrests have been made in this case. If you have any information on the identity of these suspects, contact Crime Stoppers at 831-1111.
