robber pics 300HENDERSON, KY (7/12/12) – Henderson Police officials are seeking information from the public concerning a bank robbery that took place today, July 11, 2012, at approximately 9:40 AM at the Green River Area Federal Credit Union.

According to Police officials, the suspect entered the bank at 902 Second Street in Henderson, approached the teller and demanded money. The suspect produced a handgun. After obtaining an unspecified amount of cash, the suspect fled the building and ran towards the alley in the rear of the structure.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s with dark brown hair and a stocky build. The suspect was wearing blue jean pants, an orange t-shirt, and had a white piece of cloth partially covering his face during the incident. The suspect also wore large-framed glasses.
