Henderson Resident Charged with Fleeing/Evading Police

arrest mccormickHENDERSON, KY (7/16/12) – On Friday, July 13, the Henderson Police Department took part in a police chase that led to a vehicle rollover on US HWY 60 East.
 
According to Henderson Police Officials, at approximately 10:20 PM in the area of US 60 East and Watson Lane, Officers attempted to stop a blue 1996 Ford Ranger, operated by 41-year-old David McCormick of Millcreek Drive in Henderson. Officers stated that McCormick failed to stop for officers. After a brief chase, McCormick’s vehicle exited the side of the roadway and rolled over an unknown number of times.
 
McCormick was transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries in the accident. After a short investigation, officers transported McCormick to the Henderson County Detention Center for DUI and Fleeing/Evading (1st Degree), as well as several other traffic offense.
