Accident with Injuries Involving Semi

tractor trailer 300HENDERSON, KY (7/25/12) – On Wednesday, July 25, at approximately 11:11 AM, the Henderson Police Department (HPD) responded to the scene of a reported accident with potential injuries at the intersection of 5th and Green Streets.
 
Once on the scene, HPD officials found that 38-year-old Rodney Cosby, of Henderson, was driving a company semi eastbound through the intersection. At the same time, 76-year-old Viola M. Day, also of Henderson, was traveling Southbound in her car.
 
Based on witness statements at the scene, Day ran the red light and struck the semi. Both Day and Cosby received minor injuries. Day refused transport to Methodist Hospital. Cosby was transferred by the Henderson Ambulance Service to Methodist.
