Crissy Sandefur Named Principal at Jefferson Elementary

sandefur cHENDERSON, KY (7/27/12) - Spokesperson of Jefferson Elementary is pleased to announce that Mrs. Crissy Sandefur, former South Heights Elementary Assistant Principal will assume the position and related duties of principal at Jefferson Elementary. Mrs. Crissy Sandefur will replace outgoing principal, Ms. Kasey Farmer.
 
Mrs. Crissy Sandefur is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master’s Degree from University of Southern Indiana in Educational Leadership. She has been a teacher at South Heights Elementary (2004-2009); curriculum specialist and an assistant principal at South Heights Elementary (2009-2012). While at South Heights she coordinated instructional leadership, response to intervention, student discipline, and parent communication.
 
“I gained an ample amount of knowledge in my leadership role as assistant principal at South Heights Elementary, and I know my skills and creativity will carry over as principal at Jefferson Elementary,” said Mrs. Crissy Sandefur.
