Henderson Police Report – January 7, 2013

HEND ARREST REP1HENDERSON, Ky. (1/7/13) – The following is your weekly update on law enforcement activity in the Henderson area.
 
On January 4, at 3:24 PM, Henderson Police, Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of 2nd and North Alves in reference to an accident with injuries. Those involved were 15-year-old Samantha Hawks, 23-year-old Brittany Jeck, a 2-year-old and a 17-year-old. Jeck was traveling west on 2nd Street at the Intersection of North Alves when Hawks pulled out from North Alves onto 2nd street and struck the driver’s side of Jecks vehicle. Jeck was transported to Methodist Hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
 
On January 5, 2013, at approximately 4:53 PM, the Henderson Police Department began investigation of a burglary of a garage at 2330 HWY 50 East. The Homeowner reported that someone had entered his garage and stolen several items with a value exceeding $8,000.00. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
