Multiple Stabbing Incident on Clay Street

crime scene stabbing 300HENDERSON, Ky. (1/21/13) – On Saturday, January 19, 2013, the Henderson Police Department (HPD) responded to a report of a possible stabbing incident that took place at the intersection of Mill and Clay Street.
 
Once on the scene, HPD located a victim who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim identified David A. McCormick, 41, of 818 Meadow Street, as the attacker. According to the victim, McCormick fled the scene prior to officer's arrival and has not been located at this time. The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital with serious injuries.
 
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of David A. McCormick is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (270) 831-1111.
 
Police officials have not yet released the identity of the victim in the case. The investigation is currently ongoing.
