Victims Tied up, Assaulted, and Robbed in Home

crime scene burglaryHENDERSON, Ky. (1/24/13) – The Henderson Police Department have reported a robbery that took place today, January 24, 2013, at around 9:00 AM, where the residents were tied up and one was physically assaulted.
 
According to Police officials, 23-year-old Deangelo Steinbrugge of 1023 First Street, Apartment 4, reported that earlier in the day two men kicked open his apartment door, tied him up and assaulted him. Steinbrugge stated that the men then stole various items from the home, including electronics, his dog (a pitbull - no description) and a gun.
 
Ashley Mosley, also a resident of the apartment, was also in the home during the robbery. She was tied up; however, she was not harmed in the incident. Steinbrugge is currently being treated at Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
The suspects are described as two males, one of which was a black male, wearing ski masks and gloves. Both men were armed with handguns during the robbery.
 
This is an open investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 270-831-1111.
