pills presc 300HENDERSON, Ky. (1/28/13) – During 2012, the Henderson Police Department (HPD) hosted six Prescription Drug Drops at the Henderson Police Department.
 
HPD was able to collect and destroy 293 lbs. of medication.
 
Currently, a new drug drop is in the schedule, to carry on the success of 2012. On Saturday, February 2nd, 2013, from 9 am until 1pm, the Henderson Police Department will host a new Prescription Drug Drop. Residents may bring their unused medication to the Henderson Police department for proper disposal.
 
This program will be held in 2013 from 9 am to 1pm on the first Saturday of February, April, June, August, October and December.
 
This program will be for medication only. No medical equipment such as hypodermic syringes with needles will be accepted.
