Utica Resident Charged in Fraud Investigation

credit card theftHENDERSON, Ky. (5/27/13) – Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson has charged an Utica resident with unlawful access to a computer and falsely making or embossing a credit card following the investigation into reports of fraudulent use of a credit card, authorities said.

Ariel Storm was arrested on May 24 after authorities alleged Storm “made multiple purchases in the Owensboro area” with a credit card found in the parking lot of a local convenience store on Ky. Hwy. 54. Authorities said the owner of the card contacted them regarding fraudulent charges, which prompted the investigation.

Storm was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
