driven 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/10/13) – Madisonville native Steven Baker of Music Man Productions and the R&B Trio Driven, had the opportunity to sit down and talk with SurfKY News about their upcoming summer tour.

The talented trio is hits the road starting June 7, 2013 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville where they will be performing with Wiz Khalifa. Throughout their 30-day tour, they will be performing with a lot of big music icons such as: Justin Bieber, Keyshia Cole, One Direction, Dave Matthews Band, Nelly, Kelly Rowland, New Kids on the Block, LL Cool J, Janelle Monae, T-Pain, Yo Gotti, Chris Brown, Ashanti, Omarion, Selena Gomez and Mac Miller are just a few names.

Recently, the trio was able to perform at James Madison Middle School here in Madisonville. “We want to give Mrs. Winters from James Madison a very special thank you. She really opened the doors for the guys to be able to perform and talk to the students,” stated Baker.

The Trio is hoping to have their EP “Point of View” out on iTunes soon.

The guys have been working hard over the last months to help prepare themselves for their upcoming tour. “We have been blessed to do music full-time, our families have been very supportive. We have had to make sacrifices. But right now, we fill like we are in the position to make things happen,” expressed the Trio.

Driven would like the community to know, “We want Madisonville to know we really appreciate the support and we just want to thank them and all the people who have been there for us, through the good and the bad. We have a pretty good support system here in Madisonville and we just want to thank them again.”
