CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (6/12/13) – When the words “in between” are used, people usually think of being in between jobs or in between relationships. Its’ connotation is a state of indecision.
But when I hear the words in between, I think of being in between the books of Genesis and Revelation, being able to exist in a state of personal peaceful bliss. My life now is a daily journey, assessing and measuring to see if I fall in between the necessary guidelines of righteousness, glorifying GOD every day, everywhere, all the time.
I'm not perfect by any means, and I'll tell you that every day. I have my struggles daily as we all do, and I have my ups and downs, just like everybody else. Daily I have to ask Jesus to have mercy and give me strength. I have to ask the Holy Spirit to guide me and instruct me daily so that I can talk to GOD about his promises to me.
You see my life is not my life. I belong to him. He tells me, through his word, that to obtain all that I desire my actions have to fall in between HIS guidelines (the word and will of GOD). I thank Him for all that he allows me to be. I thank HIM daily for all that he has done for me and thank him in advance for all that he has yet to do for me. I thank him for my good and bad days, for my ups and downs. I thank him for showing me where my actions need to lead me to be able to fall in between.
In between means that we have to make sacrifices, become selfless, put other's needs ahead of ours. We have to love everybody, all the time, treat everybody the way that we want to be treated. Jesus' actions allowed him to fall in between. He showed us that it is doable to live a Godly life.
I pray that I measure up and fall in between when all is said and done.
If you don't know Jesus ask about him and find out why he is so important to us all. Do a little research, seek him and see if seeking him does make a difference in your life. Please, at least give him a chance.
Have a blessed day and a blessed week!
