juvenile arrested 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (11/13/13) — Five juveniles from Muhlenberg County have been charged in connection with the break in and burning of the concession stand at Beechmont Park.

Muhlenberg County Deputy Sheriff Shannon Albro responded to the call about the incident at the park Saturday, Nov. 9. When he arrived on the scene, he discovered that the bench seating at the park had also been uprooted and turned over.

The next day, the Sheriff's Department received information possibly connecting a juvenile with the crime. Further investigation produced charges against five juveniles.

Three of the juveniles were charged with first degree criminal mischief (Class D Felony), and the other two were charged with second degree criminal mischief (Class A Misdemeanor). Three were lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center while the other two are scheduled to appear before District Court Judge Brian Crick.

The Sheriff's Department is asking citizens to reporting any possible criminal activity at the park.
