Local Cancer Patients Donation Jar Stolen, Several Tips Made Overnight

Theft red 300HENDERSON, Ky. (12/19/13) — Dan Fritz, owner of Golden Glaze Bakery, reported that a donation jar for a local cancer patient was missing from the counter at his bakery on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

Fritz reviewed security footage and discovered that the jar was stolen at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. The suspect is a white male with brown hair, wearing a purple and gold Indiana Pacers jacket, blue jeans, and brown shoes.

Fritz has posted the security footage on social media in the hopes of identifying the suspect. Overnight, several tips were called into Crime Stoppers and the Henderson Police Department concerning the identity of the person who stole the donations, according to Henderson Police. The case has been turned over to detectives who are currently following up on each of the tips. No arrest has been made at this time.
